Loved the link. I felt the same way before I had children, when I first started working with toddlers at a child care center. The work allowed me to tap into something in myself that's sacred, and quintessentially me. I still work with toddlers (now infants and parents too), and I have one of my own, and another baby on the way. I always hear how much work motherhood is, but I'm finding it to be the most fun I've ever had. Of course it's work, but that seems so insignificant compared to the joy.
I'm an explorer, questioner, traveler, reader, thinker and citizen. I'm also a mother, to a three-year old and a baby. I am raising my children bilingual English/Spanish and will soon incorporate Chinese for the preschooler. As I learn about the journey of parenthood, I try to look beyond my culture and area and search for ideas from a wide range of places and people. I enjoying discussing topics that affect the wellbeing of parents, children and families.
